We’re excited to announce Transifex’s acquisition by PARC Partners, effective as of 12 April 2022.

PARC is a search fund founded by Chris Reese and Tony Pilnik to pursue their shared entrepreneurial vision of buying and scaling a software company. This investment will fuel further acceleration of Transifex’s growth with additional capital and management resources focused on customer value creation.

We would like to thank our employees and partners for your amazing support and valuable partnership throughout these 12 years. The Transifex team will remain intact, with key leadership unchanged across all functions, and operations remaining centered around the United States and Europe in support of a global customer base and opportunity set. Founder Dimitris Glezos is succeeded by Chris Reese in the role of CEO and Tony Pilnik in the role of President.

“Over my 12 years as CEO since founding Transifex in 2009, it’s been a thrill to have reached customers in 70+ countries, developed relationships with 1,400+ leading technology and global enterprises, and built a 55 person team running the top localization platform globally,” said founder Dimitris Glezos.

“As the category-leading product enabling the global ambitions of digital-native companies, Transifex is poised for a phase of rapid growth alongside its customers, which we have seen for example through the headcount of dedicated localization staff growing at over 30% since 2018” said incoming CEO Chris Reese. Incoming President Tony Pilnik explained “we see tremendous market demand for a localization solution that sits seamlessly at the core of the tech stack and allows customers to translate their content in the most cost-effective method possible and localize at the same speed of creation.”

Building on its long history as the leading innovator in the localization software space, Transifex will continue to invest in new features and technologies to meet the increasingly sophisticated needs of its customers.

“Our focus remains building more of the automations, workflows and linguistic tools which enable our customers to continuously localize their content and connect with their customers all around the world.  We are particularly excited by the unique capabilities of Transifex Native, which provides developers with a modern experience and empowers localization professionals to finally control the messages users actually see.  As the nature of content technology continues to evolve, we believe that Transifex will be increasingly recognized as the essential tool for collaborating and centrally managing all localization content,” noted CEO Chris Reese.

We are thrilled to join forces with Chris and Tony. All of us at Transifex look forward to continuing to serve all our customers with the same passion, dedication and care. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to reach out to our support team or your dedicated customer success manager.
