Our Social Responsibility Committment

At Transifex, our mission is to contribute to a united world that is connected by technology. We want to break down the language barriers by making localization accessible to everyone. Recognizing our humble beginnings and in the honor of the communities that helped us grow, we are passionate about our social responsibility commitment to give back.

Transifex, as a company, evolved and developed through the Open Source community. Since we started, we have had an unwavering commitment to our roots and community. From our humble beginnings in 2009, we have developed into a leading localization platform, but we never forget the many individuals and organizations from the Open Source community that helped us — and still do.

Our Open Source Program is free for all open source projects that have no funding, revenue, and/or commercialization model. Even if your project does not fully fall into this category, we encourage you to contact us.

Non-Profit Organizations

At Transifex we have enormous respect for non-profit organizations that help make this world a better place. Whether they are providing support or services, giving a voice to the most vulnerable or building stronger and healthier communities, non-profit organizations provide an invaluable contribution to our society.

Recognizing that they often work with more passion than resources, we are committed to providing our product at significantly discounted rates.
If localization would enable your organization to reach more of your beneficiaries, we encourage you to contact us.

Start-ups and Entrepreneurship

As a tech start-up ourselves, Transifex, is committed to helping others achieve their dreams.

For our fellow start-up teams and entrepreneurs, we offer coupons for free use of Transifex through our partnerships with fbstart and GitHub Education.

If you are in one of our neighborhoods, we also have the possibility to host you in our Menlo Park or Athens offices. This is for small start-up teams with no funding or revenue for and a limited amount of time.
We also would like to share our knowledge by setting you up with one of our mentorships with our engineering, product, finance, sales or people-ops representatives.

If localizing your product or marketing site can help you grow, we encourage you to contact us.
