Transifex’s API has helped many teams automate their localization workflow. Now, with the new Transifex Advanced API, you can automate more of your processes.

First, you can now get and push translations as XLIFF files through the API no matter your original file format. This has been a much-requested feature, and we’re happy to share that it’s finally here. If you or your translation vendor are integrated with our Advanced API, you can quickly get XLIFF files for translation and upload finished translations back into Transifex without needing to so manually.

Second, if you’re using our Visual Context feature, you can now upload screenshots and map strings to those screenshots through the API. This capability makes it much easier to provide context for your translators at scale if your app has a lot of screens for translation, or if your screenshots get updated frequently.

The new features in the Transifex Advanced API are available on the Transifex Enterprise plan. To learn more, refer to the Advanced API translations and Advanced API screenshots documentation.
