You can now authenticate to the Transifex API using a token instead of your password. This means you don’t have to share your password with others when using the API. Tokens work on a user level, and you can generate them inside the User Settings.

Going forward, you can continue using your password for authentication, or use an API token. It’s up to you, though we recommend using a token, of course 🙂

To learn more about getting and using your API token, read the Transifex API authentication documentation.
